Warren B. Steele, II was born May 1, 1962 in Fort Carson, Colorado. He graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. degree in psychology and social relations in January, 1984 after completing high school in Summerville, South Carolina.
After graduation, he joined Aflac in March, 1984 as a management trainee and served in several positions with Aflac until his retirement in October, 2004 as Senior Vice President, US Marketing. He still resides in Columbus, GA.
Warren has served on several local charitable boards and still serves in several volunteer capacities: on the Harvard Schools and Scholarships committee, and the Columbus Regional Health Board, where he is Chair of the board. He also serves on the board of MEEF, the Muscogee Educational Excellence Foundation. In February 2012 he started the Muscogee County chapter of the Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy.
Warren was introduced to the Ferst Foundation while serving on the board of Voices for Georgia's Children in 2011 when Robin Ferst was being honored for her role in improving the lives of children.
Warren is married to his wife, Lorie, and has two children: Trey, 22 and Ariel, 18. He enjoys golf, bowling, and fitness in his free time.
