“Being a school administrator, I am able to see firsthand how important it is to have books in the hands of young people at an early age. It is not enough to simply teach children to read. We have to give them something worth reading and something that they are interested in. We must find that special piece of text that will stretch their imaginations--something that they can make real world connections with.”
